Welcome to EMR University

The educational arm of the Science and Public Policy Institute’s Safe Wireless Initiative.

The goal of EMR University is to provide professional training utilizing the most current information about the risks and interventions related to electromagnetic radiation exposure.

Over the past decade, the problem of electromagnetic radiation health risks has gained international prominence. While the science of electromagnetic radiation dangers and solutions continues to evolve, there are limited avenues available for interested persons to receive up-to-date knowledge and practical information for personal or field use. EMR University serves to fill that gap by providing critically important public protection information to clinical practitioners, public health professionals, school and government officials, environmental consultants, industrial safety personnel, and involved or concerned citizens.

Check out the new on-line EMR 101 Course.

EMR 101 is the pre-requisite course designed to develop a basic understanding of the history, biology, scope and mitigation of electromagnetic radiation exposure.  From there students may elect to continue in one of three graduate level curricula:

  • EMR 101/201/202/204 Consultancy: for individuals wanting to apply knowledge of risks and remedies in environmental consulting or related fields.
  • EMR 211/212 Clinical:  for clinicians wanting further training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of electro-hypersensitivity and other EMR-related pathologies.  This course is currently in development and will be available in the very near future.
  • EMR 221/222 Advocacy:  for individuals wanting information, skills, techniques, and resources needed to increase awareness of community, legal  and public policy issues and involvement. This course is also currently in development and will be available in the very near future.

Each of the graduate level curricula concludes with a certification exam for which the sanctioning body is the Science and Public Policy Institute.  Upon passing the exam, you will be designated as a Certified Electromagnetic Radiation Safety Advisor and receive a diploma indicating your focus area (i.e., Consultant, Clinician or Advocate).
